Welcome to Pure Patina.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pure Patina website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
About Pure Patina
Pure Patina is a British brand creating handcrafted wall art, statement signs and decorative pieces for homes, commercial spaces and interior design projects.
Every item is individually made using carefully selected materials and traditional finishing techniques. As each product is handcrafted, no two pieces are identical. Variations in timber grain, texture, paint finish and colour are natural characteristics of our work and should not be regarded as defects.
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
After placing an order you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:
- payment cannot be authorised
- pricing errors have occurred
- materials become unavailable
- we believe fraudulent activity has taken place
- we are unable to fulfil the order for any reasonable reason.
Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
Where applicable, VAT is included.
Complimentary UK delivery is included with all orders placed through our website.
Payment must be received in full before production begins on personalised works.
Payments are securely processed by Shopify Payments and/or our approved payment providers. Pure Patina does not store your payment card details.
Handmade Products
Each Pure Patina product is individually handcrafted.
- Natural variations may occur in:
- timber grain
- colour
- stained / painted finish
- distressed detailing
- texture
- dimensions within normal manufacturing tolerances +/- 20mm.
These characteristics form part of the handmade nature of our products and are not faults. All measurements are provided as a guide and measured at the widest point.
The photos of the artwork you see will be of the actual item you receive, we do not use AI to generate images of our work, the piece you see is the piece you will receive. We do use AI to show the pieces in settings.
Bespoke & Personalised Orders
Many of our products are made specifically for each customer.
Where artwork approval is required, production will not begin until written approval has been received.
Please carefully check all spelling, wording, sizes and layout before approving your proof.
Once artwork has been approved and production has started, alterations, cancellations or refunds cannot normally be accepted.
Product Images
We make every effort to display our products accurately.
We do not use AI to generate images to claim to be pieces of our work. All our items are professionally crafted with skill and care, everything you see has been made in the real world by real artists in our own workshop.The photos of the artwork you see will be of the actual item you will receive. We do use AI to show suggested settings for our work, we will always endeviour to ensure size is representative of the actual piece. Once you make a purchase the image will be shown as sold.
However:
- colours may vary depending on individual screen settings
- timber is a natural material and will vary from piece to piece
- lifestyle photography is intended to illustrate products and may not represent actual scale.
Intellectual Property
All website content, artwork, product designs, logos, photographs, graphics and branding remain the intellectual property of Pure Patina.
No material may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Patina shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our products.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on this website.
