Material & form
It Starts with the Timber
We begin with substantial engineered timber faced on both sides with hardwood veneer.
The natural grain is deliberately kept visible. Rather than hiding the timber beneath an opaque surface, we allow its markings and movement to become part of the finished piece.

Design into timber
Cut with Precision
Each design is prepared specifically for machining before being cut on our CNC equipment.
Profiles, recessed areas and fine details are formed accurately in the timber. Machining is only the beginning: once the piece leaves the CNC, it is inspected, sanded and prepared by hand for finishing.
Colour with character
Individually Finished
The grain remains part of the design

Colour should add character to timber, not disguise it.
Our colours are mixed and applied by hand, then worked with the natural grain of the veneer. The aim is depth and character rather than a flat, factory-uniform surface.
Because the timber itself varies, the finish responds differently from one piece to the next. Those subtle differences are part of the material and part of the finished work.
No two pieces are ever quite the same.
Depth, grain and touch
Finished by Hand
Colour is built and judged by hand as the piece develops, rather than applied as a single mechanical finish.
When we are satisfied with the result, a sprayed satin protective coat completes the surface while retaining the natural look and feel of the timber.

Nothing overlooked
Made Properly. Front to Back.
Our standards don’t stop at the surface you see.
The reverse is sanded, stained and finished with the same care as the face, then fitted with its hanging hardware ready for display.
Ready to leave us
Final Inspection
Every completed piece receives a final inspection for finish, detail and presentation before it is packed.
Only when we are satisfied is it placed into its close-fitting, double-walled packaging and made ready to leave the workshop.

From the first cut to the final inspection, every stage has one purpose: to make something worth putting on the wall. Made To Be Displayed.
